Description
You Are the Wind
I was scheduled to co-write with Dan Johnson and we were to meet at his house in Maryland. Dan had gotten caught in traffic, and was running around forty-five minutes behind the time we had scheduled to start. The wind was blowing mightily while I waited in my car outside of Dan’s house. I spent the time listening to the wind howl, and writing down my thoughts personifying and deifying the wind. Like the wind, both people and God are sometimes unseen but for their effects that can be felt all around, if we only pay attention. I have tried to make it a theme of my life to pay attention, and then write it down. When Dan arrived, my thoughts were added with Dan’s as we quickly created this song.
