About Me
Shirley McAfee is Platinum G! She is a singer, Songwriter, Writer, Speaker,
Entertainer… She began singing at age 4 for family, friends and a
neighboring nursing home while scoring lead school roles but, it was
later her voice mastered combining songwriting and stage presence.
McAfee starred in her own one-woman cabaret; Metamorphosis,
impersonating Bette Midler, Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Patsy Cline to
name a few…She later traveled to Nashville TN after writing her
country album “Harley” with good success. McAfee, an RN combined
her music and medicine writing shows geared towards wellbeing
combining her songs with motivational speaking.
She has written several books, 2 children’s books, “Drippy the Drop”
and “Sunny sings the Blues” and 2 adult workshops called “How to Really
Love your Life” and “The Rainbow Diet”. Written three Albums
“Metamorphosis”, “Harley” and now completing “You Did It!”
Today McAfee speaks, sings and writes extensively and travels with
her New Orleans based show band “Chili Mack & Cheese” while
recording a new Blues Album to be released Winter 2017. Shirley is a
high energy, hypnotic, interactive performer and has a gift for
including her audience as well as appealing to all age groups.
Shirley has combined her years of impressions, country, blues and has
created her own unique sound. Her Voice is the combination of a big
gutsy belt, growling blues with heartfelt sweet tones where Etta
