About Me
I LOVE music! This is the first song that I’ve written (with music by our Unity of London music director) and recorded for a CD fundraiser that we’re doing at Unity of London. Then, I get this email from emPower and, What a Big Surprise!, I have entered my composition! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a songwriter, but I was going through a tough period in my life about 15 years ago, and sat down with a pad and pen, and the words just came pouring out of me! I sang it at a coffeehouse our Unity put on back then, but we didn’t keep the music and the song just sat and collected the proverbial dust. So, needless to say, I’m very excited to have this opportunity to share this song with you!
My Interests
I am a former occupational therapist, and retired early after a health crisis. Fortunately, my health is much better, and I am focusing my energies on things in my life that feed me in all ways. I love to sing, sing in our Unity choir, read, do crosswords, yoga, painting, and of course, spending time with my husband of 37 years. We have two grown daughters, who we spend as much time with as we can. We also have two cats, and love animals, and I enjoy painting pictures of our and friends’ pets. I am finding out the most amazing things about myself as I grow with new interests.
