About Me
Jane Voss is the writer of the underground folk hits, “The Thing That Makes You Beautiful,” “Keep in Mind (That I Love You),” and “To All My Friends in Far-Flung Places.” Her songs have been sung and recorded by such outstanding artists as Dave Van Ronk, Rosalie Sorrels, Chuck Pyle, and the Hallowell Singers.
Hoyle Osborne is a versatile pianist and composer whose work draws on folk music, ragtime, Latin music, and other vernacular traditions. Hoyle is music director of Fellowship of Spirit, a New Thought congregation in Farmington, New Mexico.
Jane & Hoyle have appeared in concerts and music festivals all across North America and in England for 35 years. They often juxtapose their original songs and compositions with older popular and folk material, and with songs by other outstanding contemporary songwriters.
Voss & Osborne have given concerts and musical messages in a variety of churches all across the country. “(Jane’s) glorious songs reflect the determination of the human spirit to survive and rise from whatever adversity the crooked path of life may throw in its way. … An inspiring celebration that gives hope to others struggling with their own demons.” (SING OUT! magazine)
