About Me
Probably one of the greatest miracles in my life occurred when a melody “fell” into my head and, minutes later, the words came tumbling after! Ultimately, I have come to believe that I am not really writing songs…but that I am merely writing them down!
I have been fortunate to work with some wonderful people like singers Sherry Allen, Lydie Koffi Omesiete, Wiley Beveridge, and Deana Gurney. I learned a great deal from recording engineer Tim McLaughlin, and have enjoyed working with talented keyboardists: Karen Lee Davis, Deana Gurney, Bill Panko, Wiley Beveridge, and Linda Lucy Marks.
Over the years, it has been my privilege to record six CD albums with some amazing artists. To hear one’s songs performed by a chorus or choir is a precious gift, and I am grateful to my church family at Unity of Gainesville where I am privileged to provide music, including some of my original compositions.
Some of the high points along this musical journey include the performance of “Touch the World” in nine countries, as well as having the opportunity to have finalist songs performed in the 2002, 2006, and 2018 Tipperary (Ireland) International Song of Peace contests.
I am continually reminded that these songs have been “sent” to me because, ultimately, I’m the one who needs to be hearing the messages…it doesn’t get any better!
