About Me
Shondra is a professional singer, songwriter, arranger, musician actor and producer with 36+ years of recording and stage experience in both studios and in her own concerts and shows across the USA. She is registered with BMI as an artist as well as a publisher as Shondra Music.
In 2012, Shondra produced two CDs of her original music, her rock CD, Inside Fire and her Inspirational Pop CD, I AM. Many of her songs have had airplay and won awards in San Diego, CA and airplay on BBC Radio. Her original songs vary from many different styles and genres ranging from Rock, Pop, Country Rock, Blues, Power Ballads to Show and Inspirational tunes. As a professional audio production specialist she arranges all of her own compositions and has produced her catalogue of songs in studios throughout southern California and more recently in Sedona, Arizona. Three of her inspirational songs, I AM, The Prosperity Song and I Am One are published in the International Unity Song Books. “We Can Survive.” Shondra originally wrote for the organization “Cancervive” in Los Angeles, CA has been the featured anthem for “Survivor’s Lap” at the Relay for Life Race events in Sedona for over seven years and her Children’s Anthem has been sung by thousands of children for annual International Night events for over ten years.
Shondra has countless of hours of studio experience recording with musicians in her own bands, singing demos for projects for other artists, musicians and songwriters including having recorded voiceovers for video, commercials and web sites.
As a MIDI artist, she has arranged hundreds of songs for a variety of shows, commercials and projects as well as arranging and producing other songwriter’s originals. Her other studio credits also include being the Production Voice Director, coaching actors and singers, (both children and adults), in studios for various projects.
She helped develop the 2006/2007 Sunday Night LIVE service for Unity of Sedona as their evening music director. Currently Shondra is the music director/soloist for the Center for Positive Living Sedona with seven years and counting on the job every Sunday.
Currently and for the past eight years, Shondra has been teaching, coaching and mentoring students in acting, voice, guitar and coaching stage performance for auditions, contests and shows.

Shondra touts a list of skills that makes one’s head spin. Never a dull moment, she juggles quite a schedule in which engages all of her versatility as a professional in her field of the performing arts.
Throughout Arizona and California, Shondra is known as half of the popular show entertainers, Tom & Shondra, who perform their shows regularly in large venues for sold out audiences and corporate parties. She orchestrates all of their music and is their music director when adding musicians to their shows. Tom & Shondra (aka Entertainment by Tom & Shondra) is being awarded the prestigious Sedona Community Foundation’s “Sedona Spirit Award for Sedona Business of the Year 2013” on Nov. 10th 2013.
Shondra has recently been brought on as a full partner with PURE Talk Radio Show host & Life Coach Bonnie Wirth and Life Coach Pamela Cushman with the Experience Yourself Women Retreats in which will be produced around the country and in Canada – the first being produced in Sedona at the Creative Life Center November 7th through the 10th. Besides performing in concert at the retreat, she has written the theme song, “Experience Yourself” and will also be coaching her own workshop called, “Find Your Voice and The Power of Yes And..”
Besides fronting a long list of popular bands in San Diego and then leading her own rock band for several years, she performed her own shows at the MGM Grand in Reno and the Dunes in Vegas. In the 90’s she was hired aboard popular cruise ships such as the Pacific Princess, Regal Empress, Commodore and Carnival Cruises as their star act performing her own one hour show, backed by their ten piece house band for Captain’s Night.On line you’ll see her as the feature interviewer on LifeparticleTV.com, actress on DahnYogaTV.com and the voice of Los Angeles jazz musician Billy Mitchell’s, SAPPA.com (Scholarship Audition Performance Preparatory Academy), plus many other websites and film projects. In Sedona, you’ll find her on Red Rock TV Channel 16 as the on camera tour guide as well as her voice heard on many of their commercials.
Being a sound techie, landed her running the sound board (10 mics) in the courtroom for the James Ray trial in 2011 (3 months) which was broadcast on CNN, Headline News and Court TV’s In Session on TruTV.
Her Producer credits include co-founding the Sedona Community Fair, the Sedona Winefest, Artists for Animals Concert, Sedona Cares and numerous shows, book signings and musical events.
An Alumni of Julliard’s Acting School in New York, Shondra also continues her career as a professional actress. Audiences have enjoyed her comedic and dramatic talents cast in lead roles in numerous plays and musicals throughout the years. Her credits include Sister Amnesia in Nunsense I & II, Marge in Suds, eleven characters in the two person play Maybe Baby It’s You.
Her gift of gab has her hired as the emcee for many of Sedona most popular events such as the annual Sedona Winefest, Sedona Marathon, Jazz on The Rocks, Keep Sedona Beautiful Awards, Verde Valley Caregivers Annual Gala, Sedona Sunrise Superstar Contest including the Sedona Chamber of Commerce monthly mixers and the new Cottonwood Idol. She is also the show director, scriptwriter and co-mc’s for the quarterly networking breakfast, Good Morning Sedona. She also provides DJ services with her company At Your Request DJ for weddings, corporate events, private parties.
